Snow

Seeing snow on the red rocks of Sedona is an incredible experience.

On the rare occasion when Sedona gets snow, it melts rather quickly. Sedona can get snow anywhere from November through March. If you are lucky, you can catch a glimpse of a snow-covered cactus. Though the sun will melt any snow that comes to Sedona rather quickly, it remains in the higher elevations resulting in some awesome photo opportunities.

Most sources will put the total annual snowfall in Sedona at about 8 inches.

We have been lucky enough to be in Sedona during one of these snow events and are happy to share the photos of our experience.
